Zagora is a common pitstop on the way to Erg Chigaga in the Sahara Desert. Although most travelers, won’t spend much time in Zagora, it should be a destination in its own right. The area around Zagora is home to lush oases and data plantations around the Draa Valley. It is also a center for southern Berber culture with several fascinating annual festivals.
