For travelers looking for a more authentic side of Southern Morocco, M’hamid brings a quieter side of life compared to larger southern cities like Ouarzazate and Zagora. It is nestled in the Zagora region just past the Draa Valley and the last outpost of “civilization” before the start of the famed Sahara Desert.
