The 4×4 journey to Erg Chigaga takes you to one of the least explored sand dunes in Morocco. The off road drive will take you out of M’hamid (where the paved road ends) and into the wilderness of the Sahara desert.
This is a full day round trip tour departing out of M’hamid. Erg Chigaga is located 60 km west of the M’hamid.

9 AM: Pick up from accommodation in M’hamid.
10:30 AM – 11 AM: Arrive at camp.
11 AM: Enjoy a camel ride among the golden hued sand dunes.
1 PM: Lunch at the camp or desert oasis.
2 PM – 4 PM: Personal time to explore. Chillax and read in the hammocks. Sand board, hit some golf balls into the large expense of sand, learn how to make a traditional Moroccan tangine. There are a myriad of activities for you to choose from. Or you may choose to do nothing at all and bask in the tranquility of the desert.
4 PM: Depart for M’Hamid.
